Abstract:
Data was collected in the Dijmphna Sund (northeast Greenland) during the FS2016 expedition with R/V Lance. Profiles in the upper 100 m were collected over the side of the ship along a section from the terminus of the floating ice tongue of the 79 North Glacier to the mouth of the sound. Data contains profiles of attenuation at 650 nm (attenuation coefficient, in units per meter) measured with a Wet LABS AC-9 in situ absorption and attenuation meter, and fluorescence of dissolved organic matter at two channels, using a Wetlabs 3-channel fluorometer, representing marine humic-like fluorescence (excitation 310 nm and emission at 450 nm) and terrestrial humic-like fluoresence (excitation 280 nm and emission at 450 nm). The fluorescence is reported as raw digital counts in relative units. Values are not indicative of absolute concentration.

The data file (comma separated values) contains following columns: Cruise ID; Station; Date [yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss.sss]; Longitude [degrees_east]; Latitude [degrees_north]; Depth [m]; attenuation at 650 nm [m^-1]; marine humic-like fluorescence (ex./em. 310/450 nm) [raw counts]; terrestrial humic-like fluorecence (ex./em. 280/450 nm) [raw counts]; Section Distance [km] - distance from the terminus of the floating ice tongue.
